Free Printable EASTER MINI BINGO!!!

Hi everyone!!! With Easter just days away, I thought I'd share this Easter Mini BINGO game with you!  Enjoy!! Click HERE or on the image below!

We managed to squeeze in about 5 minutes of egg decorating before we headed south for Spring Break!  I think the kids liked painting eggs more than dyeing like we had done in previous years!

Unique Gift Idea for Scouts, Sports Teams, etc. - Custom Photo Book

Hi everyone!!
I wanted to share an idea that I did last year for my Brownie troop.  This would also be great for sports teams, dance, student gift from teacher, etc.!!  I made each girl a custom 4x6" photo book with pictures from the year.  In this post, I will give some tips and ideas on how you can make a booklet like this (I will save the step-by-step of how to use a comb binding machine for another post!).

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
-Photos
-Front Cover-laminated is best!
-Back Cover Paper
-Plastic Comb Binding Spines (size will depend on how many photos you are using)
-Comb Binding Machine (Don't own one? Check your child's school!  If you bring your own binding combs, they will probably let you use their machine! I know that FedEx, Staples, and OfficeMax also offer a binding service!)
OR -Instead of a binding machine, you could punch holes and use ribbon instead!

I'm considering offering these kinds of booklets and/or booklet covers in my Etsy shop..... message me if you're interested!

My Mom (a retired teacher) bought my book-loving daughter one of these machines for her birthday last year.  They are fabulous and we have used it many times for numerous crafts and books!
It's so simple.  You just stack all the photos together and use the machine to punch a row of holes in the paper.  Then you lay the comb binding spine through the prongs, pull the handle up to open the binding, insert the photos, and pull the handle down to close the binding! Since I used 4x6" photos, I cut the comb binding spines and was able to use one spine for two books.

I chose colorful pieces of scrapbook paper for the back covers.

Girl Scout Cookies - Military Donation Thank You Cards

Hi everyone!!!  We got our first round of cookies in over the weekend, so my daughter was busy sorting, labeling, and delivering!  I wanted to share a thank you card that I created for the people who donated boxes to the military.  These would be good to have on hand at cookie booths too!  They're formatted for Avery 5163 labels, but would be fine on regular paper as well. Enjoy!

And here's a sign for cookie booths!

Last-Minute Valentine Idea - Non-Candy!

Yep, it's Valentine's Day week already!!!  If you haven't yet decided on or purchased yours for the kids yet, do not fear!!  Here's an idea for unique class Valentines, similar to ones that I did last year.  These are available in my shop with a 24-hour turnaround. Your order includes 25 customized valentines in 4x6" JPEG format.  Use coupon code BLOGGER for $2.00 off!

Idea:
Send images to Walgreens, CVS, etc. for quick and easy one-hour printing. Add a bag of microwave popcorn and ribbon.  Great idea for a non-candy Valentine!

How about creating a popcorn box to match? My daughter made this little popcorn machine box with paper, clear laminating sheets, and stickers!

I offer three different backgrounds.

Introducing Jodi of girlscoutleaderconnect.com!

Attention Girl Scout Leaders and Moms!!!! Do you ever struggle with planning meetings, programs, badges, crafts, ceremonies, fundraisers, etc..???  One of the great things about blogging is being able to connect with all of you and share feedback and ideas with each other!  So I am very excited to share an AMAZING resource with you that will end your planning struggles!!!  I'm happy to introduce Jodi, who runs the fabulous blog girlscoutleaderconnect.com. Please go check out her site and her shop https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Girl-Scout-Leader-Connect?aref=ze7afrwa.

Here is a little bit about Jodi and her blog...
Scout leader connect is a blog that was created after being a leader for over 12 years and a Girl Scout myself for 12 years. I know the struggle of finding great ideas, planning your meeting can be difficult so I wanted to create a place where leaders can go to get great ideas, find resources to make running their meetings easier, as well as a directory of other great websites I have used along the way as a leader.  Check out website here: girlscoutleaderconnect.com and be sure to subscribe to never miss another Girl Scout idea.

I never expected to have over 1000 subscribers to the mailing list or reaching thousands each months visiting the site. When I started the blog I created it as a way to record my ideas so I could reuse them later and share with girls in my troop.  As followers began to grow and people started requesting more details on subjects, or the actual print outs or programs I did. That was when scout leader connect shop was born and I began promoting the site so more leaders could find the resources. In the Scout leader shop I currently offer Brownie Inventor badge, Junior Scribe Badge, Cadette Comic Badge, Girltopia Planning guide, and a few other great resources for your troop. I designed the booklets so each girl can have their own book and you have everything you need to earn the badge in one printout.   I will continue to add books as I complete them.  The shop isn't all I offer along with the shop I post new ideas for your troop weekly on the blog and just started You may be a green neck if... images to share with other leaders just for fun. Last week was a series of unique troop management ideas so be sure to stop by and subscribe. My Home Cafe is done!!!!!

It's definitely not Pinterest-worthy or anything fancy-schmancy.....but my little cafe is done!!!   It's in our dining room (which currently still does not have a dining room table and needs a new chandelier and some fresh paint!!).  Most everything is stuff I already had or purchased from Goodwill. Some of the wall hangings I made myself.  I may update these photos soon because the dreary weather did not make for good lighting today!!!

I painted this COFFEE sign at a home painting party in December.  The little shelf is from Goodwill.

I have a section for Tea and Hot Chocolate too:

There is a seat waiting for you if you're in the Columbus area and want to stop by! ;) ;) ;)

Of course I had to have a place for my popcorn machine!!!!

Well, there you go!  Maybe I'll consider installing a drive-thru window this summer!!!
