ABOUT ME!
I thought it would be fun to share a little about myself once in a while! For those of you who may not know it, I have a fraternal twin sister! Her name is Sarah and she was born about two hours (yes, HOURS!) before me! Our parents didn't even know they were having twins until a half hour after Sarah was born and the doc was still waiting for the placenta to come out!!!! In 1977, my hometown's hospital wasn't using ultrasounds and modern-day technology, so during routine prenatal visits, if they heard one heartbeat, they left it at that!! I know, it's crazy!! I was definitely a SURPRISE!!!
As you can see, Sarah is taller than me. The older we got, the more we stopped looking alike....until she began cosmetology school and started cutting and coloring my hair. I noticed my hair began looking a lot like hers!!!! ;)
My wedding 5/10/03
One of the most special times in our twin lives was when she told me she was pregnant with her second child. Just a week or so later, I was telling her that I was also pregnant with my second!!!! Her due date was just 12 days before mine and we had the same doctor to share in all the excitement. We documented much of the pregnancies on our blog

With the 4 of us kids, our spouses, and our children, there are 18 of us!!

Today, she and I live about 15 minutes away from each other. We don't see each other near as much as I'd like....we're both busy with our lives, family, jobs, etc. She is a hair stylist and in addition to their 4 year-old daughter, they also have a 13 year-old son.
We also have two younger brothers...one who was born just 15 months after us, so we were almost like triplets!!!!!
