Girl Scout Cookie Necklace from a Plastic Cup

To all of you moms of Girl Scouts or Girl Scout leaders....here is a little craft project idea!  These are little necklaces or keychains you can make using plastic cups, Sharpies, and an oven!!!

You will need:
3 oz. Plastic Bathroom Cups (the 9 oz. translucent cups work too, but you may need to adjust baking time)
Permanent Markers
Baking Sheet and Foil
Hole Punch and String or Ribbon
Oven preheated to 350 degrees F

Step 1: Use the markers to draw a design on the cup.

Step 2: Punch a hole in the cup just below the rim.

Step 3: Place cup(s) on foil-covered baking sheet and place in center of oven.

WATCH CAREFULLY!!!!  It only takes about 10-20 SECONDS for the cup to melt!!

Step 4: Remove from oven and allow to cool for 1-2 minutes.

Step 5: Add a ribbon and the necklace is ready to wear and advertise cookie sales;)
