No More Training Wheels - FREE Printable Certificates!

When Mya learned to ride her bike without training wheels, it was HUGE deal in our house (in fact, it was almost exactly one year ago)!!!  I wish I had thought to make her a certificate back then, but here are a couple that I've made now to share:)  There is a blue/red one and a pink/purple one--both are included in the free download.

When the iPhone Calendar Isn't Enough

We love the iCalendar...that fabulous calendar that we can link up to all our family devices: iMac, iPod, iPod, and iPhones!  That's where we input girl scout events, church events, evening meetings, kids classes & activities, and our favorite sports teams' games.  I had to force myself to use that calendar in the beginning because I was a paper-calendar person.  When I was in the corporate world, I always had a calendar open at my desk to record meetings and notes.  But I realized that I needed to at least try to go paperless and it works wonderfully for family activities or events that we all need to view.

However.....
Recently, I decided that I need to go back to writing things down.  This is mostly because my to-do list has been growing, and it's much quicker for me to scribble down my tasks on a piece of paper than open up the notepad app or calendar and type it in.  So I'm using a Weekly Planner page format.  It's basically just full of my to-dos for the day.  I write down my most important tasks related to my new Etsy shop, girl scouts, church, and working out.  Then I can cross it off when it's complete.

Does anyone else use a planner or weekly calendar besides the one on a computer or phone?  I have no idea if I'm alone on this!!!

LOVE Banner FREE Printable

My daughter loves to decorate for each and every holiday!  So last year after Valentine's Day, I got some half price (maybe even 80% off!!) decor.  I found a cute wooden heart wreath for the front door, a banner for the mantle and lots of that wire covered in shimmery hearts.  I may post pics of my decor, but it's very basic and nothing extraordinary, so we'll see!!!

Here is a FREE Printable banner that I created that you can download.  Cut out the letters and put them on cute colored paper, punch holes in the tops, and run ribbon through them.  Voila...a lovely decoration for over a door, across a mantle, or up on the wall!!

Kids' School Binders - FREE Printable Set

My daughter started preschool as a three year-old, and before I knew it, the year was almost over and I had piles of artwork, assessments, and misc papers stacked up all over the desk and thrown into a bin.  So I decided I needed to get organized quickly because her brother was born shortly after she started school, so I knew I better stay on top of it all!! 

I used folder labels on manila folders, one for each year of her preschool and now elementary school.  But I plan to switch over to binders and use these covers and labels instead.

Tracking Family Birthdays

Between nieces, nephews, parents, grandparents, siblings, etc.... it is difficult to keep track of all the family birthdays!!!  I usually get a Shutterfly calendar printed every year for our home and my husband's office with all the birthdays on it.  But, you can track your family's birthdays using a simple sheet like the one I created below.  Download HERE or by clicking on the image.
